What This Website Collects

Lifeline Gedo collects as little information as possible through this website.

  • Contact form. If you send us a message, we receive the name, email address and message you provide. We use it only to reply to you and to keep a record of the correspondence.
  • No tracking or advertising cookies. This site sets no analytics, advertising or profiling cookies. We do not sell, rent or share your information with third parties for marketing.
  • Fonts. Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads. No other third-party service runs on this site.
  • Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard access logs (IP address, page requested, timestamp) for security and troubleshooting.
  • Your rights. You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@lifelineorganisation.org.

Programme data — beneficiary registration, assessment records and attendance registers — is handled separately under our programme data-protection procedures and donor agreements. It is never published, and personal identifiers are removed from any report we release publicly.

Safeguarding

Protection From Harm and Exploitation

Lifeline Gedo works with people in situations of acute vulnerability. We hold our staff, volunteers, contractors and partners to a standard of conduct that puts the safety and dignity of those people first.

  • We do not tolerate sexual exploitation, abuse or harassment by anyone associated with our work, in any circumstances.
  • We do not tolerate any form of abuse, neglect or exploitation of children.
  • Assistance is never conditional on any favour, payment or relationship.
  • Our protection team delivers gender-based violence prevention, child protection training and case management, and protection is mainstreamed across all our sectors.
  • Concerns can be reported confidentially through the channel below, including by people who do not work for us.
Complaints & Feedback

How to Raise a Concern

We are accountable to the communities we serve. Anyone — a community member, a staff member, a partner or a member of the public — can raise a concern about our work or the conduct of anyone associated with it.

  • By email: info@lifelineorganisation.org, marked for the attention of the Executive Director.
  • By phone: +252 61 875 1251.
  • In person: through our field offices and community protection committees in each district where we operate.

Complaints are treated confidentially. You may raise a concern anonymously. We do not retaliate against anyone who reports a concern in good faith, and raising a concern will never affect a person's access to assistance.

Anti-Fraud & Anti-Corruption

Stewardship of Donor Funds

Every grant we hold carries obligations to the people it is meant to reach and to the donor that entrusted it to us.

  • We do not offer, accept or tolerate bribes, kickbacks or facilitation payments.
  • Procurement follows documented competitive procedures with segregation of duties.
  • Our accounts are externally audited and we undergo donor due-diligence assessments; findings are acted on and tracked.
  • Suspected fraud involving our funds or staff can be reported through the complaints channel above, or directly to the donor concerned.
Requesting our full policies. Institutional donors and partners can request our complete policy set — safeguarding and PSEA, child protection, code of conduct, anti-fraud and anti-corruption, procurement, data protection and whistleblowing — along with our audited financial statements, at info@lifelineorganisation.org.
